Why Bar Snacks You Say?

This is our 18 pound Orange Tabby, His name is Ahn Ju Gam, which in Korean means appetizer fixings; he got this name 8 years ago when my wife decided he seemed cool
even though she professed to hate cats, humph! Although 18 pounds seems large, he was not fat although he did know how to throw his weight around. (Just ask the dog!)

I show him in his full-sized glory since over the past months he had been experiencing large scale weight loss and incontinence, (Very annoying if a behavior issue).
Since his weight loss worried everyone , Ahn Ju got a trip to the vet who diagnosed him with Feline Diabetes! $300 later he is recieving .5 cc of Cat insulin twice a day
and his incontinence and difficulty walking have ceased, and he is gaining weight again since he had lost at least 6-8 lbs.

The strange part of this is that he often purrs when he is recieving the shots in the scruff of his neck. He is smarter than the average cat but it is almost like he
understands the cause and effect of getting the insulin shots.
Compare him to a 2 month old Kitten here. (Now a texas cat, Joker) Link

That's a whole lotta cat, Geezer.  He's freakin' huge!

The orange kitten that got hurt looked almost like your big bruiser of a feline.....

he's a match for my cat too, on steroids though, maybe..........

He could take up almost half of a futon couch when he stretched.
He is also the leader of an alien race that has disguised themselves here on earth by looking like cats. The Ahn Ju is the keeper of the race's collective wisdom and rules through psychic commands. (At least in 3 or 4 years of bed-time stories )

Really Cute kitty picture of your "Big Guy," my "Big Guy" (aka The Great Pumpkin) is also orange. I don't have any web pictures of him yet, but I'll post one as soon as I do. Glad to see you are posting again. I'll try to check the site more often,

I thought my 14 pounder was big, but yours is ginormous! Reminds me of my grandfather's cat when I was younger. Glad that he's getting better too. Our Euripides gives us enough trouble with pills, I can't imagine trying to give him shots.

Well, I won't comment on the cats but I surely enjoyed the slide show with all 19 pics that you posted. I was impressed with 2 very nice looking boys and I was totally surprised if that pic with the man seated in a chair was you. I thought you said you were an old geezer. Of course, everyone looks young to me. Great show! Thanks for sharing.
