Since he talks a lot, the answer is obvious

I say Since he talks a lot, the answer is obvious, but it was only obvious to my french speaking Son Corey. he figured the name for my new kitten due to his habit of using his claws (swords) meowing a lot, (pure poetry! at least to a cat) and an obvious affection for noses, his name obviously became Cyrano de MotorMouth.
You all remember barsnacks the cat. Link
Meet his distant cousin from West Texas

Pre-attack on my nose He's pretty smart except when he feels the need to attack the shower curtain, it's funny as heck but it makes me wonder.
He has already been neutered and came from a shelter that had cats at the local Petco. Funny how I keep going back to those orange cats that will probably get huge.

Aww! I love kittens! There's something about their inquisitiveness that's just so endearing!

Nice pics, Geezer. I've never seen the inside of your nose before.....

"sniffs" sorry
He is a bit gassy too so I figure he must be a little French.

Saw an Orange American Shorthair (Big orange breed) at a rest area yesterday, at first glance I thought it was a mid sized Dog!
he was next to a lab mix dog and didn't look small at all. had to be at least 20+ pounds and walking on a leash. I thought my bar snacks cat was huge but geeze!

That was a fantastic testemonial to your kitty....I could almost see him chirping and rolling around.

My husband had a cat that looked almost exactly like him when he was growing up (well, actually, his parents still had it after he moved out).  The cat lived more than 20 years even though his favorite thing to do was go out and get into raging fights with strays.  He was pretty beat up toward the end, and they ended up having to stop allowing him outside because he still kept picking fight even when he was 20.

You know, I always knew about "dog years" in relation to humans, but at what rate do cats age?  I've never owned a cat even though I want to.

Name him 'slicker'. Then when he does something bad say 'no, slicker'.

Them orange cats get big and bad-ass when they grow up

Yes they do. My orange tabby Euripides once sent a doberman home crying.

and an obvious affection for noses

Mine has a nose affection too. Sadly, his is for biting. Cute cat. Ya'll go good together.

Sir Lickalot?

Speaking of getting huge; He went to the vet for shots today, and he weighed in at 5.1 pounds! Since I don't believe he is much over 3 1/2 months old, He will probably be another 15-20 pounder.

You should bow down low and address him as "Your majesty."

Don't ya know cats rule the world? They are waiting, very patiently I might add, for us to fall into obedience. So in the borrowed words of another blogger....Bow down and worship SLAVE DOG!

(Psst...that kitty is a cutie.)
